Alice jumps as the wall bursts, she was usually much better at
guessing when those accidents might happen, and she looses sight of the
other. He was small and black and white colors made it nearly impossible
to see, but she still did her best to make her way to him. Sure he was a
stranger still but she’s not going to let someone die on her watch.

“Try and grab my hand!” She shouts out to him trying to get closer

This was bad, if the ink was acting up like this it could mean that
Bendy wasn’t to far away. They needed to get moving and get moving fast
if they were to avoid running into the ink demon.

The other ink was starting to go into his snorkel. This was bad; the Repairman didn’t even know if this ink did anything other than try to drown folks. Hastily, the next time he surfaced, he spat the snorkel out.

Then he saw it; a gloved hand trying to reach him. He splashed and flailed, trying to “swim” that way, but it was rough going with the liquid trying to keep him in.

Finally, after a particularly strong push, his hand found hers, and he grabbed on for dear life, practically trying to climb her arm.

Black, White, and Purple

“Maybe they will,  you never know how things interact with us
shadows.” Shalbie said as he took the things the repairman gave him and
absorbed them into his  shadowy self.   “I mean  you know how we are
not entirely solid right , I mean how solid we are  really depends a lot
on our  light world counterpart.” Shalbie added perhaps trying to teach
the new shadow  a thing on how to  keep a more stable form.

“You
see we shadows are like a manifestation of the sorrows, insecurities,
negative  thoughts,   and other stuff  form our light world counters so
the more they have  of those, the more solid  we are I guess. I mean
you’d be surprised by how little information there is about our kind in
this land.”  He said before he took a sip of his glass of milk.  “
Luckily for you I’m here and I’m willing to teach you everything i know
about our kind.”

“Ohhh…” the Repairman nodded. That made sense, actually. Even if he was…less than solid for a different reason, it was surprisingly interesting to learn about shadows.

“Oh, wow! Yeah, that kinda surprises me; this is pretty neat!”

He took a decent swig of milk before continuing. His face turned more serious as he looked at his companion with concern.

“Um…you do know I’m not a shadow, right? I’m just ink…”

He didn’t want to burst Shalbie’s bubble, but he sadly felt he had to before Shalbie tried (and failed) to make a shadow out of him.

Maybe it was the upset, or the watery vision in his eyes, but Avignon faltered when the strange beings before him began to move.

And talk.

A sharp inhale, and the gun was lowered in order for him to rub building tears from blurring his vision further in order to get a clear picture of what was in front of him. And looking again revealed questions, and less answers.

Slowly blinking, a broken breath and he took a step forward to their step back.

“What….”

“Are you…?”

The two relaxed somewhat when the person lowered the gun. And then he stepped forward.

The two inched backwards again, still not trusting him.

“W-well…I’m the Fourth Wall Repairman,” the inkblot said, “and this is Marie…”

“Ch-charmed,” the paint spatter managed.

“We’re just Toons passing through.”

“R-right, passing through. Just please put that gun awa–”

What my sister is trying to say is, um…” The Repairman looked up, thinking for a moment. “…that, uh…you should put that gun away so we can…give you a manicure?”

Marie’s glare at him said it all.

Look,” the Repairman whispered, “If you have a better idea…”

Medical gave her brother a squeaky growl. There was only room for one star around here, and that was going to be her! Luckily, she had the advantage: He could change his face, but she could change her shape.
It took her quite a bit of effort, but Medical somehow managed to shape
herself into the cutest puppy she could. She even panted slightly for
effect, revealing that her tongue was dark blue and had a sparkly silver star printed on it. She was quite proud of it, after all.

Well. That was… Unexpected. And kind of hurtful. “Replacement?”
Susumu was confused. “Mr. Sir, what are you talking about? No one’s
replacing you! Why would you think they were?”

Marie gasped as Medical became a puppy. These slime things were just adorable!

Cat Slime, however, looked at his sister, unamused. Could she not try to take the attention away from him? Granted, he had a feeling he’d be seeing more of this paint blot, but still…

He did have an ace in the hole that was sure to keep Marie looking at him.

Such a good girl, yes you are, yes you–Oh!” Marie started, interrupting her patronizing of Medical. She suddenly felt Cat Slime rubbing against her cheek, squeaking softly.

“Aww, you thought I could forget about you? C’mere!”

The Repairman sighed, handing a note to the mun. It was typewritten, on a somewhat gray sheet of paper.

“She gave this to me when she arrived.”

Hey, Marie!

As you know, we made you to assist the Fourth Wall Repairman. He has a tricky job, after all, and could use the help. Can you BELIEVE the studio left him alone all these years? I’m sure he’ll appreciate the company.

Who knows? Maybe you can teach HIM a thing or two!

We all wish you the best of luck here! Go get ‘em!

Sincerely yours,

William Bowshem

The Repairman sniffed.

“You see? She’s just…gonna…replace me…”

He looked down at where his feet would be.

alone-with-company:

“I need to kill something.”

Not his usual way of handling emotions the Doll held the gun UNSTEADILY by his side, huffing out an equally unsteady breath. It was irrational thinking in hindsight as unwanted emotions swelled slowly inside the man who couldn’t decide with to holster the gun or not.

An ache in his chest, and the weakening ability to breathe, Avignon’s eyes remained trained forward without seeing what was in front of them. The desire to kill so outright wasn’t common for the Doll, but he didn’t know how else to process the inner turmoil in his MIND, his heart.

And it ached so dull.

An ebbing flow that was leeching out through cracks metaphorically appearing all over his body.

When they heard someone say that, both blots immediately fell silent, completely forgetting whatever they were talking about. They looked to their left to see a fairly tall man(?) holding a gun uncertainly, and his breath was ragged.

Both inkblot and paint spatter reached for the sky. The Repairman moved in front of his little sister instinctively, but she tried to move back in front of him. Silently, they settled on being next to each other.

Not that either one of them would die from a bullet, but it would still hurt.

“…L-look,” the Repairman said, “I don’t kn-know what’s wrong, but…we don’t wand any trouble…”

As one, both he and Marie slowly moved backwards.

Seeing that her brother was getting so much attention, Medical
quickly squirmed out of Barrette’s arms and hopped in front of Marie.
She wasn’t going to let him steal the show! She quickly shaped herself
into the shape of an hourglass, giving a proud squeak.

“Oh, you’ll have to excuse her,” Beep explained. “Medical’s… A little bit of a showoff, as it were.”

Susumu,
meanwhile, noticed that something was up with Mr. Sir, and it was
bothering her too. Maybe she should go talk to him? She was pretty much
the boss lady in the void… Yeah, maybe she should talk to him. She
decided to follow him…

“Hey, uh, Mr. Sir? Is everything alright? You seem… REALLY upset.”

“Oh, no, it’s fine! These guys are really cool…”

Marie went and picked Medical up in the other arm.

Cat Slime glared at his sister. Medical, trying to steal his thunder? Thinking quickly, he gave Marie the largest, shiniest, and cutest eyes he could muster.

“Awwwwww~” Marie cooed, looking at his adorable lil’ face.

Just to rub it in, Cat Slime strategically stuck his grey tongue out, so as to both make his face even cuter and to tease Medical.

Meanwhile, the Repairman was not prepared to have anyone follow him, much less the mun of this place. He turned around, visibly upset and tired-looking.

“Everything’s fine,” he replied, sourly. “Go and…get to know my replacement better.”

Bowyetta seemed uncertain at first, but after a moment, she wiped the
metal substance off her hands and took the phone. “H-Hello?”

She
paused for a minute, as there seemed to be lots of shouting over the
phone, and even what sounded like distressed slime squeaking. “No, no!
Please to be calming down! Bowyetta… Is, um… She is being okay. But… She
is not knowing where she is. But, Mr. Sir is being here with her! …You…
You are having been worried about Bowyetta?” She took a much longer
pause this time, her eyes starting to fill with tears as she listened to
what her friends said. “…T-thank you. Bowyetta… Promises she will be
coming home as soon as possible.”

She handed the phone back to
Mr. Sir. “Um, Mr. Sir? Something is telling Bowyetta that she cannot be
leaving yet. We must… Be dealing with her, first.” She pointed at the
Shadow, who was looking somewhat upset.

The Repairman patted Bowyetta’s back the best he could as she talked to her roommates. He was glad he did this; she clearly needed it.

Packing the phone away again, he looked back up at Bowyetta?

“Yeah…Oh…”

He looked at the imposter that had, just moments ago, tried to murder and cannibalize his friend. Deal with her? He grinned maniacally. He could always use some scrap metal…

He looked back up at Bowyetta, and pulled out a power drill.

“…Do you want to do the honors, or should I…?”

It was clear he was hoping she would let him “exact justice” on the shadow.
Just for emphasis, he squeezed the trigger a couple of times, letting the drill buzz to life and wind back down.

The red Denpa caught sight of some large metal object, about to come
down on Susumu’s head. “Susumu, look out!” She warned, quickly pulling
her out of the way.

However, instead of some sort of crushing object, what dropped in
front of the group was… A piece of the pie from before? “Um… Thank…
You?” Susumu asked, confused. Well, they had better start eating before
this thing changed its mind…

“But we’re still trapped back here,” The red Denpa remarked. “We’re not hurt, but we can’t move this thing ourselves.”

“But why are you helping us?!” The white-haired Denpa demanded.
“You’re just going to eat us when you get us out of here, aren’t you?!”

Cat Slime nodded. It was nice to be appreciated, even if some of your sweets had to go for it to happen.

He grabbed the busted internet router by the antenna and dragged it aside so they could move.He recoiled at the idea of eating these things, and stuck a grey tongue out in disgust.

Still, it would seem they would want out after this, so he went up to the door to open it. Only to immediately close it, shivering.

“Sorry, Cat Slime!” the Repairman’s voice called out, genuinely sounding worried. “S-s-surprise blizzard! Stay in there, please!”

Tippy tried her best to get up off the ground without using her arms,
and eventually just ended up using her wings to prop herself up
slightly.

“I know where there’s a few doctors on the island,” she answered.
“Only problem is, I don’t know what time they close, or how far they are
from here. Well… There IS a healer in the Tamazon Jungle somewhere…
Only problem is, I don’t know if I can exactly trust Kole to heal me or
not. She might give me some weird potion that… Anyway, what do you think
we should do?”

The Repairman looked around, hoping to spot any landmark other than sand.

“…Uh, if that jungle is closest…” he said, uncertainly, “we may have to visit Kole…”

He pulled a wheelchair from his hammerspace, as well as his pet Cat Slime.

“We’ll be ready for her, though, right?” he asked, proffering the chair.

Cat Slime, meanwhile, was in the middle of lathering up with sunscreen when Tippy caught his eye. He began squeaking in confusion, for this was the first time he met another cat…

askthefwrp reblogged/liked for an Edith Up roleplay

The gourmand fairy listened carefully
all the way as the fellow blob trying to speak Pig Latin to her. Her
home language, even though there were some people that understood her
without any problems. However, some people like this stranger didn’t
comprehend this language easily.

And so, the fellow was
called the Fourth Wall Repairman. Why, where was his real name? No
Steven? Carl? Frank? Perhaps Edith will ask him later.

“Owhay about ooyay? Asway Iyay interrupting anything…ay? (How about you? Was I interrupting anything)”

Huh.
Edith was a little lost at what the Fourth Wall Repairer meant by that.
There wasn’t seem to be any sign of interruption. In fact, she wasn’t
being interrupted. And so, the fairy simply shook her head in response.

The
food fairy couldn’t help but stare at the knocked out and slobbering
darktoon. From what it seemed, that thing didn’t look like it was going
to leave.

“eyHay, oday youyay annaway omecay ithway emay
otay ymay omehay aceplay? (Hey, do you wanna come with me to my home
place?)“ Edith offered in question. “ouldnWay’tay antway youyay ickstay
aroundyay ithway atthay yuckyyay ingthay overyay erethay. (Wouldn’t want
you stick around with that yucky thing over there.)“

“Oh good…ay,” the Repairman said, glad he wasn’t stopping her from doing anything important right now.

After a moment to understand what she said, he shrugged. He thought the way to the break in the Wall was the way she was going anyhow.

“Er…shay,” he finally said, before taking one last glance at the drooling monster. “Eugh…ey…” (Sure. Eugh…)

Shaking his head, he took his cart and packed it away into his hammerspace. Big help that thing was on the ice, anyway. Still, he couldn’t help but feel a little bad for the thing (first frozen, then knocked out…). He pulled out a can of sardines, and a fairly generic ham.

“Should…ay…I eavelay eesthay orfay that ingthay?” (Should I leave these for that thing?)
