The chibi let out a small nervous giggle as she shook Marie’s blob of a hand.

“Nice to meet you too, Marie! Sorry about that. You two do look very similar though.

“Hey, Shinko! Who’s at the door?” came a female voice from inside.

Shinko let go of Marie’s hand to look back inside. “It’s Mr. Repairman and his sister Marie! They came to visit!”

Crystal
walked in view of the door, wearing a purple crop top and some dark
blue yoga pants. She was using a small towel to wipe off some
sweat. “Hey there! Weren’t really expecting company but… if you’d like
to stay for lunch, I’m sure Falcon made enough food for everyone,” she
noted with a small smile.

“Heh, no worries,” Marie giggled in return. “I guess we kinda do…”

Both blobs looked up to greet Crystal.

“Heh, sorry Crystal,” the Repairman said, rubbing the back of his head, “I wasn’t really expecting this either…“

“…But thank you so much!” Marie butted in, smiling. “I, for one, would love to stay for lunch! But, um, who’s Falcon?”

“A shadow demon,” the Repairman shrugged, after the initial startle.

Stars appeared in Marie’s eyes. First a diverse ensemble from a void, then ghosts, then a magical anonymous person, and now shadow demons?

“…This is the coolest job…”

Medical, however, didn’t seem to mind this at all. She gave an
affectionate squeak, and settled into Marie’s arms, trying to look as
cute as possible. She then stuck her sparkly tongue out at Cat Slime
just to spite him once more.

“Oh, stop it, you two,” Beep scolded
the two slimes. “We all love you both plenty. You shouldn’t even be
competing like this anyway.“

Medical was about to give another
squeaky protest, until Bowyetta saw Mr. Sir and Susumu returning. “Oh!
Mr. Sir!” she called to him. “Is everything being okay?”

Cat Slime ignored Medical, instead turning back to Beepsumu, protesting that Medical started it. He stopped when he realized the Repairman was back, and so the pet hopped from the arms of one blob to another, squeaking happily.

The Repairman gently pet Cat Slime in return, patiently listening to him.

“…Yeah, I’m fine…Yes, Cat Slime, looks like she’s here to stay…Yeah? I’m glad you like her…”

Marie snickered.

“Wait, really? You call him Cat Slime?”

“Uh, yeah…” the inkblot replied, confused. Cat Slime let out a defensive squeak.

Marie took a closer look at the pet, and lightly stroked under his chin to get on his good side again.

“…Heh,” she finally remarked, “I guess that is a descriptive name.”

From the other side of the door came Shinko’s voice as she was running up.

“I got it, I got it!” Shinko told her guardians as she opened the door with a small gasp.

“Mr.
Repairman! You came b- uh oh…” She noticed the blinking light and
giggled nervously. “Um… did I… break the wall again somehow? Did my Toon
rifle break it somehow?”

She glanced over to see Marie, looking innocently confused. “Um… are you Mrs. Repairman?”

“Eh…” the Repairman shrugged. “No clue. I just know it’s here. No worries, it’s another chance to visit.”

When Shinko asked Marie if she was “Mrs. Repairman,” both blobs shifted a small distance from each other. Marie’s bow seemed to stand up on end, while the Repairman shuddered.

“Eugh, NO!” they exclaimed, in unison.

“If anything, it’s be ‘Miss’ Repairman,” Marie piped up. The light semantics joke seemed to be enough to dissolve the issue immediately, and both relaxed.

“Shinko, this is Marie, my repla– my assist– my sister,” the Repairman finally managed. Marie’s bow visibly drooped, but she still smiled as she extended a hand to Shinko.

“Nice to meet ya!”

Black, White, and Purple

“ Well Osfala is this guy that is Elder

Sahasrahla’s apprentice and a descendant form the seven sages.” Shalbie said beginning to answer the repairman’s question.

“ He is the kind of guy that always wants to work alone as there is “No one  better than him”
and stuff like that… Can’t say I’ve interacted much with them but you
two seem similar.” He added before he took a big gulp of his glass of
milk, finishing it.  He then noticed the milk mustache  on his new
friend and began to laugh. “ You look funny with that mustache on your
face!”

“Well, I only do that with the Wall, really…” the Repairman admitted. As he should; he was the Fourth Wall Repairman, not a Fourth Wall Repairman!

He chuckled as Shalbie laughed, taking another swig.

“Yeah, do you think it fits me?” he asked jokingly, not realizing his blank white eyes almost made it look like a small frown.

“Still not a shadow of the guy, by the way,” he said, cheerfully. “I think–”

He hiccuped.

“Hey, um, what kind of milk is this, anyway?”

Susumu’s eyes widened at the sight of the house. “Oh, wow!” She
exclaimed. “Gosh, you sure have a nice place for… Uh, whatever you are!”
She immediately plopped down on one of the couches, and the Denpa with
shades followed her.

The red Denpa carefully sat down on one of the couches. “Well, yes, some water would be nice,” she remarked.

The
white-haired Denpa, however, was nervous even stepping in the door.
“Susumu!′ she scolded. “Keep your ears down! If that thing catches your
scent it might change its mind about eating us!”

From the kitchen, after the white-haired Denpa warned Susumu about him eating her, he squeaked something to the effect of “I heard that!”

Then he froze.

Wait. Susumu? He’d heard that before…

Hastily, he filled up several tiny glasses and carried a tray in his mouth, bringing it over to the Denpas. Once it was set down, he turned to the Denpas.

“Mi-mi-mu?” he asked, surprised to hear the mun’s name here.

He began to squeak questions at a mile a minute, barely letting them answer one before moving to the next.

“…Where’s this?” Marie asked, eyes looking all over.

“A friend’s place,” the Repairman replied, absently looking at each house they passed. His siren light was blinking, and he occasionally stole a glance at it before advancing further down the street.

She eyed his light as they moved. How did he know where the next break was…?

Finally, the Repairman turned towards a blue house, knocking on the door. He beckoned for his sister to come next to him as they waited.

“I’m Rustbolt. I own this pile of shit.” He gestured to the heaps of trash. “Well, PILES.”

“So something needs fixing? Maybe I can help?”

The Repairman tried to cover where Marie’s ears would be.

“Hey, watch it! There’s a kid here!”

Marie swatted his hands away, though, and quickly turned to him.

“Hey, I’m no kid! I already know those” *honk honk* “words!”

The Repairman shrugged, and helped Marie give Rustbolt’s parts back.

Both Marie and the Repairman nearly dropped the piles they were carrying as Rustbolt offered help.

NO!”  they both said, a little too quickly.

Marie cleared her throat as her brother grumbled.

“Look, I appreciate it, but we’re going to be fine here. I’m assisting him, after all.”

She looked back at him, and caught his eye. He watched her like a hawk when she was near the Wall.

“…Well, I’m trying to, at least,” she sighed.

The shadow jumped as soon as the water hit her, but Bowyetta quickly
calmed her down. “Please do not being frightened! Mr. Sir is just
helping of you!”

Bowyetta continued polishing the shadow’s
body until all the rust was removed. “This is not much looking good…”
Bowyetta said quietly. She put the spray bottle and cloth back into her
hair, and produced a paintbrush and several jars of paint. “Mr. Sir,
could you please be removing of those extra pieces in her hair?” she
asked. “Bowyetta will have to being repainting of her…”

The Repairman nodded, digging for a comb. A part of him still wanted to solve the problem with an electric shaver, but for some reason he was feeling bad about that thought. Weird.

Well, the comb got stuck. As did the hairbrush. And the tweezers. And tongs. And crowbar.

Grumbling, he took a straw and shoved it into her hair. He took a very deep breath, and then blew. Everything in her hair came whooshing out at once, thankfully not flying very far before landing.

“Well…” Tippy took a look around. “All the cities are pretty far from
here, actually. We might not have a choice but to go talk to Kole…” She
shook her head at the wheelchair. “I appreciate the offer, but my wings
are still perfectly okay. I can fly myself there, but… Well, that’s the
thing with Kole. She kind of has a habit of… Turning people into
blocks.”

Her eyes widened. however, when she caught sight of Cat
Slime. “Aww, kitty!” she squealed. “What’s his name? Where did you get
him? Where can I get one?” She tried to bend down to pet him, but… Her
arms were still sore. “Ah… Y-Yeah… Let’s go talk to Kole before
anything, shall we?”

Cat Slime squeaked, unsure whether to beam with his usual affection or be scared of this other cat. Quickly, he decided on the former, smiling warmly at her.

The Repairman furrowed his brow.

“…Turn people into…blocks?”

Not that that was the strangest thing he’d seen, but he had to think of a way to make sure that didn’t happen.

He knew of one common way to counter magic like that, and he hoped it worked here.

Pulling a mirror from his hammerspace, he smiled at Tippy.

“I think we can help you there. Just show us the way!”

Link felt a sharp tug on his line and paused before trying to quickly
reel it in. Damn it was really really strong! Maybe a huge fish for him
to eat! Man that would be really great, actually! The more he tugged,
the harder it pulled, and it was like a war of wills.

“Come on–”
he grunted as he reached the end of his line, now he just needed full
force to pull this fish out. Link planted his feet in the dirt and used
all the muscle strength he had.

The Repairman chanced a look down, eyes widening as he realized he and Marie were still nearing the water. A strong, sudden tug from the line told him it wasn’t exactly going to slow down, either.

He grunted and pulled, but to no avail. He was going to fall in.

Marie opened one eye and also saw they were losing ground. Desperately, she yanked as hard as she could. The force sent the Repairman flying back several feet, landing with a splat!

“…Please keep your hands and arms inside the ride at all times…” he droned, eyes swirling and stars circling his head.

Marie sighed with relief. They had more ground now, it looked like they were making progress, and neither of their blobby forms would fall into the water.
