M/A – Magic anons basically if you turn these on people can go on anon and make your muse turn into or act like something for how long they want (usually a day can be more or less) Headcanons – These are things you add to your muse that are not canon but add to their story (Like my muse being scared of water and dogs) Faceclaim – This is who you use for your muse as icons (it can be an actor or what not you can have anyone or anything) Mine is Guy of Gisborne Private- Thisjust means they only rp with people they follow first (Mutuals) Selective/Semi Selective- This means that they choose who to Rp with. If someone sends something in they have a choice to rp with them or not. Non Selective – RP with everyone OOC – Out of Character meaning what the mun says Mun – Yourself or the person controlling the character Muse – The character you are playing as God modding- This can be numerous things it can be hurting a character without the muns say, killing a character without their say, making a person do something when you don’t control them. Or making them Overpowered, never get hurt or lose. OC- A character not from anything that you make (it can be part of a show like Felix is my OC of Cyberchase) Canon- A Character from a show/movie or anything else that you don’t own (You can add headcanons to them) Muti ship/Verse – Different verses per idea meaning not just one idea every rp thread. Multi ship means that all ships are seperate in threads. You can be with one character in one thing then be with another in a different and nobody is cheating they are different stories unless stated otherwise. Multi Muse – More than one muse (They may have a main muse but others also) @of-cyberspace-and-balloons Is an example my main muse is Hacker but I have other muses as well like Oogie from Nightmare Before Christmas. Independent- Not part of a group they make up their own rules.
AU- Alternative universe. This means the characters are the same or suffer certain changes while the context is different. (One classic for instance is the characters as high school students or teachers).
Exclusive- There are many different accounts based on the same character. Being exclusive means that theadministrator will roleplay with just one version of a certain character and ignore the “duplicates”.
Hiatus- For whatever reasons the administrator will take a break from roleplaying for a time which might be determined or not.
Main- Out of all blogs a certain administrator can manage, the main is the most frequently used.
Multimuse- One blog for multiple characters.
IM: Instant Messages.
Musing- A text (quote, piece of poetry…) which relates to the character.
Mutual- A person the administrator follows and they follow back.
NSFW- Not safe for work. The kind of stuff you wouldn’t write or read to your mother. It doesn’t refer only to sex: also gore and other kind of stuff which should be read privately.
OOC– Out of Character. When the administrator is talking, not pretending to be the character. It commonly comes into brackets or with a different format.
Starter- The opening of a thread.
Smut- This goes into NSFW. It is the writing of erotic material. Roleplayers will tell you if they are comfortable putting their characters in such situations or not.
