Alice’s
smile seems to grow just a little more as the other toon gets her words
stuck on her tongue, she had a soft spot in her heart for people who
got nervous easily and smaller toons. It was just something  that
happened thanks to the years of hanging out with Boris and Bendy.
Probably wasn’t best to think of that can of worms right now. So she
keeps on smiling and buries the past into the back of her mind. Her
expression remains soft when she’s asked what her name is.

“Me? My names Alice Angel, what’s your name?” she says almost humming the words

“M-Marie…” she stammered. “Pleased to meet you…”

She tentatively extended a hand to shake, still trying to avoid eye contact.

She suddenly stood up straight, noticing how ill-fitting her own green bow was in a sepia game world like this. To say nothing of her color or animations…

The obvious bad line about angels escaped her, perhaps for the better. Instead, she merely began twisting her bow awkwardly. As it slowly spun, it began to grow thinner, and become black and white.

“Er…” she tried to make some conversation, ”…so my brother was never clear on what this place was…saw a lot of posters…what is this place…?”

Frantically, she looked up, waving her arms across each other.

“N-not that this is a bad place at all! You have a nice world to live in! I…I just meant…”

She lapsed into silence, tugging on either side of her bow in embarrassment.

A blue paint blob with a green bow slowly approached Alice, blushing. “Um…was that YOU singing…?” Her eyes darted around nervously.

Alice was singing softly to pass the time, nothing fancy just a small song to fight away her boredom, but she stopped when she realized someone was approaching her. She’s never seen this blob before but she had a feeling that they might be an acquaintance of the Repairman.

“It was, i’m sorry if it wasn’t all that good to listen to. It’s been a while since I’ve sung anything or had a good practice.”Alice says smiling down at the other

“…No!“ Marie exclaimed, a little too quickly. “I mean, uh…it was pretty good…I liked it…um…”

The pink of her blush grew larger, and the center began to turn redder. She cleared her throat.

“…Yeah, I don’t mind at all,” she managed. Even hearing this Toon’s voice echoing through the halls, she felt her heart beating faster. Even the Repairman, who was absorbed in his work, was bobbing and swaying to the music.

Marie chanced a glance up at the singer. Oh gosh, her entire body was starting to turn pink at this point. That halo! Those eyes! That dress! She was one well-drawn Toon!

Quickly, she averted her gaze.

“So, uh…to whom…that is, who are…bluh, no…I mean…”

Her voice quickly lapsed into silence. Already she was messing this up! She sighed.

“…What’s your name?” she finally managed, lamely.
