She placed her hand on her hip and turned to him.
“Someone like me in the toon world? Is it wrong to want to explore somewhere that isn’t reality?”
To her, it was completely fine to break the fourth wall. She
didn’t really care, actually. She’s been in the toon world for quite
some time, so it wasn’t so unusual for somebody to ask. Of course,
people assume she was just an extremely realistically drawn cartoon, but
really she wasn’t. No vibrant colors, no nothing. The only color
vibrant on her was her teeth and her grey sweatshirt under her black
leather jacket. She didn’t have the simple color palette. Just a simply
colored aesthetic that didn’t make her seem all too pathetic.“I apologize if I seem very hostile right now, I’m just a little stressed out.”
Her vocal tone relaxed a bit, but she still sounded bold and sassy. With a sigh, she looked to the side and mumbled.
“I’m just trying to look for someone is all.”
“What do you mean isn’t reality?!” the Repairman said, shaking and glaring at this…this intruder. “This place is as real as any other, I’ll have you know!”
The small inkblot sighed. It really wasn’t worth getting worked up over someone he (hopefully) wouldn’t have to deal with for much longer.
“…Look, it’s…kind of my job to make sure….”
He gestured vaguely in the human’s direction.
“…this…doesn’t happen. So, could you just go back? I’m sure if you do enough channel surfing, you can find the Toon you want, so just…”
He trailed off. Finally, he sagged, though his white eyes still tried to avoid looking at her directly.
“…I’m sorry, I’m a bit stressed too.”
He pointed to his siren light, which was still flashing bright.
“…I just…I can’t…Can you please leave?”
