Combo(with Bowyetta)

With the Repairman:
Tear Down This Wall! – The Repairman builds an enormous brick wall, and one lean from Bowyetta sends it tumbling down on the enemy.

With Marie:
Tackle Shot – Marie straps herself to one of the arrows, and Bowyetta fires them at the enemy. Marie then brings up a cloud of violence upon impact.

With Cat Slime:
Bassist Cat – Cat Slime plays with Bowyetta’s string, and finds just the right frequency to stun all nearby enemies.

Medical gave her brother a squeaky growl. There was only room for one star around here, and that was going to be her! Luckily, she had the advantage: He could change his face, but she could change her shape.
It took her quite a bit of effort, but Medical somehow managed to shape
herself into the cutest puppy she could. She even panted slightly for
effect, revealing that her tongue was dark blue and had a sparkly silver star printed on it. She was quite proud of it, after all.

Well. That was… Unexpected. And kind of hurtful. “Replacement?”
Susumu was confused. “Mr. Sir, what are you talking about? No one’s
replacing you! Why would you think they were?”

Marie gasped as Medical became a puppy. These slime things were just adorable!

Cat Slime, however, looked at his sister, unamused. Could she not try to take the attention away from him? Granted, he had a feeling he’d be seeing more of this paint blot, but still…

He did have an ace in the hole that was sure to keep Marie looking at him.

Such a good girl, yes you are, yes you–Oh!” Marie started, interrupting her patronizing of Medical. She suddenly felt Cat Slime rubbing against her cheek, squeaking softly.

“Aww, you thought I could forget about you? C’mere!”

* * *

The Repairman sighed, handing a note to the mun. It was typewritten, on a somewhat gray sheet of paper.

“She gave this to me when she arrived.”

Hey, Marie!

As you know, we made you to assist the Fourth Wall Repairman. He has a tricky job, after all, and could use the help. Can you BELIEVE the studio left him alone all these years? I’m sure he’ll appreciate the company.

Who knows? Maybe you can teach HIM a thing or two!

We all wish you the best of luck here! Go get ‘em!

Sincerely yours,

William Bowshem

The Repairman sniffed.

“You see? She’s just…gonna…replace me…”

He looked down at where his feet would be.

Seeing that her brother was getting so much attention, Medical
quickly squirmed out of Barrette’s arms and hopped in front of Marie.
She wasn’t going to let him steal the show! She quickly shaped herself
into the shape of an hourglass, giving a proud squeak.

“Oh, you’ll have to excuse her,” Beep explained. “Medical’s… A little bit of a showoff, as it were.”

Susumu,
meanwhile, noticed that something was up with Mr. Sir, and it was
bothering her too. Maybe she should go talk to him? She was pretty much
the boss lady in the void… Yeah, maybe she should talk to him. She
decided to follow him…

“Hey, uh, Mr. Sir? Is everything alright? You seem… REALLY upset.”

“Oh, no, it’s fine! These guys are really cool…”

Marie went and picked Medical up in the other arm.

Cat Slime glared at his sister. Medical, trying to steal his thunder? Thinking quickly, he gave Marie the largest, shiniest, and cutest eyes he could muster.

“Awwwwww~” Marie cooed, looking at his adorable lil’ face.

Just to rub it in, Cat Slime strategically stuck his grey tongue out, so as to both make his face even cuter and to tease Medical.

Meanwhile, the Repairman was not prepared to have anyone follow him, much less the mun of this place. He turned around, visibly upset and tired-looking.

“Everything’s fine,” he replied, sourly. “Go and…get to know my replacement better.”

Bowyetta seemed uncertain at first, but after a moment, she wiped the
metal substance off her hands and took the phone. “H-Hello?”

She
paused for a minute, as there seemed to be lots of shouting over the
phone, and even what sounded like distressed slime squeaking. “No, no!
Please to be calming down! Bowyetta… Is, um… She is being okay. But… She
is not knowing where she is. But, Mr. Sir is being here with her! …You…
You are having been worried about Bowyetta?” She took a much longer
pause this time, her eyes starting to fill with tears as she listened to
what her friends said. “…T-thank you. Bowyetta… Promises she will be
coming home as soon as possible.”

She handed the phone back to
Mr. Sir. “Um, Mr. Sir? Something is telling Bowyetta that she cannot be
leaving yet. We must… Be dealing with her, first.” She pointed at the
Shadow, who was looking somewhat upset.

The Repairman patted Bowyetta’s back the best he could as she talked to her roommates. He was glad he did this; she clearly needed it.

Packing the phone away again, he looked back up at Bowyetta?

“Yeah…Oh…”

He looked at the imposter that had, just moments ago, tried to murder and cannibalize his friend. Deal with her? He grinned maniacally. He could always use some scrap metal…

He looked back up at Bowyetta, and pulled out a power drill.

“…Do you want to do the honors, or should I…?”

It was clear he was hoping she would let him “exact justice” on the shadow.
Just for emphasis, he squeezed the trigger a couple of times, letting the drill buzz to life and wind back down.

The red Denpa caught sight of some large metal object, about to come
down on Susumu’s head. “Susumu, look out!” She warned, quickly pulling
her out of the way.

However, instead of some sort of crushing object, what dropped in
front of the group was… A piece of the pie from before? “Um… Thank…
You?” Susumu asked, confused. Well, they had better start eating before
this thing changed its mind…

“But we’re still trapped back here,” The red Denpa remarked. “We’re not hurt, but we can’t move this thing ourselves.”

“But why are you helping us?!” The white-haired Denpa demanded.
“You’re just going to eat us when you get us out of here, aren’t you?!”

Cat Slime nodded. It was nice to be appreciated, even if some of your sweets had to go for it to happen.

He grabbed the busted internet router by the antenna and dragged it aside so they could move.He recoiled at the idea of eating these things, and stuck a grey tongue out in disgust.

Still, it would seem they would want out after this, so he went up to the door to open it. Only to immediately close it, shivering.

“Sorry, Cat Slime!” the Repairman’s voice called out, genuinely sounding worried. “S-s-surprise blizzard! Stay in there, please!”

Bowyetta let out a yelp as the crowbar pulled on her body.
“B-Bowyetta can not being a mother! She can hardly be caring for
herself!”

The white-haired girl spoke up. “Bowyetta, what’s wrong?
From what I’ve heard, having kids is wonderful! What could have
happened to make you not want-”

It was then that she realized what
she had asked. Bowyetta would never say it herself, but… Was she afraid
that she would end up hurting Barrette somehow? …Was she afraid that
she would end up becoming like Smithy…?

“Bowyetta… Is not wishing for any harm to be coming to her child. Is why it is not good for her to being around Bowyetta.”

At this point, the Repairman gave up on the crowbar idea. Tossing it aside haphazardly, he pulled a jack out from behind his back and placed it inside the toolbox. Its sides contorted outward as he raised the jack.

“…There you go,” he grunted, once it was wide enough for her to slip out. Then what she said finally hit him.

“What do you mean you’d harm her–”

Oh.

“…You mean like…NO!”

With alarming speed, he pulled Bowyetta up.

“You are not him, you are nothing like him, and look! She has several aunts who can help ya! Just…”

He looked at Barrette sadly.

“…Be what Smithy wasn’t, okay?”

It didn’t take long for Bowyetta to scoop Mr. Sir into another hug. “Of
course Bowyetta is meaning, Mr. Sir,” she answered, her voice now taking
on a much softer tone. “Bowyetta would not tell you anything that was
not being true. You are much being more important than you are thinking,
Mr. Sir. You are very much important to Bowyetta, to Beepsumu, to
Bonkakira… Even Medical is liking of you very much.” Her voice was
starting to shake at this point. “Is not being much, Bowyetta is
knowing. But… You are meaning very much to someone, and that is being
all that matters.” She then looked right at him. She… Looked like she
was about to burst into tears herself. “Now Mr. Sir, please be finishing
of your soup? Be doing it for Bowyetta, so we can be going downstairs?”

Hurk!”

His crying didn’t skip a beat as he moved from the blanket to Bowyetta’s arms, though it did become much softer as she spoke. He didn’t even notice how tightly he was holding on to her in return.

“…Okay…” the inkblot whispered after a moment. He was very much touched by all this, and after taking a moment to finish sobbing.

“…Your…your soup smells good,” he said, faintly smiling.

Cat Slime squeaked, the inkblot’s spoon in his mouth and worry in his eyes. He proffered the spoon to his caretaker.

“…Thank you both,” the inkblot said, settling back down and beginning to eat.

However, the Denpas also felt the movement, but it affected them much
more due to their small size. They let out a scream as they were
suddenly flung against the wall, and to make matters worse, several
objects were flung at them as well. None of them got hurt by it, but…
They did have a feeling that they were trapped.

“Hey! Can anyone
hear us? We’re trapped in here! Pkease let us out!” These metal boxes
usually belonged to humans, right? Susumu thought she could get their
attention from here, but… No response.

“Please, we’re just a bunch
of hungry Denpa-Men!” The red Denpa spoke up. “We don’t want any
trouble! We just need something to eat and drink!”

Cat Slime looked up at the cries for help. Oh, it was just those pests, never mi–

Wow, they sounded like they were in trouble! And not just from being caught eating his pie!

He looked at them sympathetically as they explained their problem. Finally, he sighed, digging for a spoon. When he found it he scooped a sizable chunk of pie and gently placed the spoon in front of the blue Denpa.

He squeaked in a way asking if any of them were hurt or pinned by anything.

[[Continued from here.]]

Susumu suddenly got a very nervous look on her face. “T-trust me!
It’s better if you didn’t call me… Uh, that! A-and well… You exist now,
don’t you? So that’s a reason to celebrate in itself! It’s… Called a
birthday. You’ve probably never celebrated one before, but Mr. Sir’s
birthday is soon if I recall correctly…”

Bonkakira then
stepped up, holding yet another bag, when she caught sight of the blue
blob. “Hey, Ink Bro! This your cousin or something?” She tilted her
shades down slightly. “Name’s Bonkakira. Survivor of 18 apocalypses.
She’s seen a lot of stuff, man. Like, stuff you wouldn’t believe. …Wanna
hear about it?”

Suddenly, the white haired girl from before
shoved her box into Susumu’s arms. “I came as soon as I heard!” Was the
first thing she said. “That little blobby fellow I saw before is here,
and there’s another one too? Well, hello! I’m Phantom Quartz, but
everyone here calls me Quartz or PQ. Oh, and, don’t worry about my arm.
That’s just my gem!”

The last one to approach Marie and Mr. Sir
was Barrette, and she was carrying the girls’ pet, Medical, with her.
“Hello!” was all she said, giving them both a shar-toothed smile.
“Bar-rette.” she proudly stated her name, before pointing at Medical.
“Med-dy.”

“Wait, the day you were drawn counts?” Marie asked, incredulously. She never expected to have a 0th birthday…

Suddenly, she found herself staring, starry-eyed, at Bonkakira.

“Oh, yes please! That sounds incredible! How did you survive all that…?”

No time for that; there was another new face to meet!

“Well, hi, PQ! Oooh, nice gem! Wh–”

No time for that, either. There was a smaller Bowyetta, and she was carrying a slime!

“Hell, hi there, Barrette and Meddy…”

Sweat marks appeared on her painted form. She didn’t expect this much attention on day one…

The Repairman’s toolbox opened, and Cat Slime hopped out, having smelled the food. His eyes widened and he gave an excited squeak. There was a new face, a lot like the Repairman’s! A new friend? She was getting a lot of buzz, too…

Quickly, he hopped into Marie’s arms, squeaking softly.

Oh! And who might you be….?” she asked, stroking his head.

The Repairman, meanwhile, looked on grimly. He was getting replaced; he knew it! Even Cat Slime was going to her!

He shivered with quiet indignity, and slowly began to back away. He figured he would need some time. Alone, apparently.
