“…Oh…” the Repairman said, putting the extinguisher down. “Well, I’m sure she’d like that…”

He looked at Marie, who turned her helmet back into a bow and shrugged.

“Well, you said we were gonna be around this world for a bit,” she said to the Repairman. Turning to Frisk, she asked “So, you think we could come along? It would be a nice time to catch up.”

“Um, if we do that,” the Repairman interjected, “We’re gonna have to break away sometimes, just to work on the Wall. Sorry ‘bout that…”

“Oh, it’s fine!” He grinned, “I could show you around our quiet little town a bit while you guys are here!” He started collecting his things, slipping his shoes on and the like, “So, what broke the wall this time?”

“Oh, I don’t know,” the Repairman shrugged. “My light only tells me
where and how bad the break is, not who did it. Besides, in a world like
this, it’s really anyone’s guess.”

He chuckled.

“So, what’s been going on?” Marie asked. “It sure has been a while…”

“I don’t see why not,” He said as he grinned to his two friends, “I
don’t know if you’ve ever met Chara… or Asriel for that matter… Ah,
anywho, drive or walk there? I’ll leave it to the guests to make ya’
more comfortable.”

“I mean, we’ve–”

Marie was about to say “–met versions of them, I think”, but cut herself off when she saw the look at her brother’s face.

“…No, I don’t think we have.” she finished.

“Anyway, we can walk there,” the Repairman said, after sighing in relief. “We kinda have to get a feel for this place…”

“Besides,” Marie added, “Wouldn’t want you pulling over in weird places…”

“… Gosh, I see this place a lot… ” the Repairman remarked, dragging his tool cart behind him. “Really?” Marie asked, trailing along. “I thought we–” “Well, I see a lot of VERSIONS of this place,” the Repairman quickly corrected.

Frisk was in the kitchen, cooking a meal for Chara, “Oh dear lor-” He saw the blob out of the corner of his eye, and turned to look at him, “My GOD it’s been a while!”

He quickly hugged the repairman, and kissed

Marie

on the cheek, “You two, you never phone when you’re coming over, or let anyone kno-“ He sniffed the air several times, and his eyes got wide as the oven started smoking. He turned around frantically to get out his pie before it burned.

“Oh, hi Fri–” the Repairman started to wave, before being grabbed by Frisk. “Sorry, it has been a while…”

Marie smiled a little, glad to see this version of Frisk again. “How ya been?”

Both watched, concerned, as they realized the oven was smoking. The Repairman pulled out a fire extinguisher while Marie twisted her bow until it turned into a firefighter’s helmet. Just in case.

“You okay there..?”
