“Mr. Repairman!? What happened to you!? Did someone curse you or something!?”

“Eugh…I don’t wanna talk about it…” the Repairman began, before Marie jumped in, saying “We got mixed together…”

“…Did you really have to say that?” the Repairman scolded his sister.

“Well, it did!” she huffed. “Besides, I’m not gonna be called a curse by anyone else, thank you!”

“I never called you a–”

And the rest of their tiff became incoherent as they endlessly spoke over each other.

💭 *AND 💬 FOR ALL OF THEM*

[[Well…A lot of Internet-based pictures of dogs remind me of you. So do lennyfaces, for related reasons.]]

The Repairman

Beepsumu: “Older computers kinda make me think of her, as do some factory inner workings. Don’t tell her I said that.

Bonkakira: “Any mention of the apocalypse, and just things that make her ‘look’, like the sunglasses and the red tie.”

Bowyetta: “Slimes, dogs, and archery. Yeah, pretty obvious, but…”

Barrette: “Kids practicing archery. Yes, it’s that specific.”

PQ: “Well, whenever I go to Beach City, it’s hard not to be reminded of her…”

Medical: “…*sigh*…This sounds mean, but whenever Cat Slime gets prissy and egotistical, Medical’s kinda my prime suspect.”

Marie

Beepsumu: “Whirring motors and gears. Well, ones that work perfectly…”

Bonkakira: “…Whenever we have to go through an office party or nightclub or something, I wonder what she would think of it.”

Bowyetta: “White mittens and any friendly fanged creature.”

Barrette: “Bowyetta, and any kid learning words for the first time.”

PQ: “Outer space. At least, when Repairman’s not nauseous…”

Medical: “Whenever Cat Slime makes a cute face (which is all the time)!”

Nightmare for Cat Slime: Cat Slime tried to climb back into his toolbox, only to find his stuff gone and replace with new things. Rep pulled him back by his ‘scruff’, “where do you think you’re going? This isn’t your home anymore. I don’t want you.” Rep gave a whistle and from around a corner came a brand new Dog Slime. “I don’t care where you go, but there’s only room for one slime here.” Rep said, shooing Cat Slime away while hugging Dog Slime

Cat Slime shot up in a cold sweat (which, for a slime, just meant he was a little drippy). Frantically, he looked around.

To his relief, it was the same room he fell asleep in. As he moved out to make sure the pet-house was still in the same toolbox, the motion-sensitive lights came on.

Yup. Same stuff as always, piled up outside his front door. Still, there was a feeling of restlessness Cat Slime just couldn’t shake off. He climbed several books, a “Form Baton”, a broken microphone, and a can of weed spray before finally making it to the lid. Ever-so-quietly, he peeked outside.

It was still dark, in what looked like a pencil-drawn world. The grassy hills stretched out as far as the eyes could see, and the enormous crescent moon hung high in the sky.

The Repairman was here, working as always. He seemed to be moving slower, though, and occasionally he began to slump over. He always managed to jerk back up and fix a little more of the Wall, though. Meanwhile, a large dangling arm and snoring told Cat Slime that Marie was on the shelf above, hopefully having a better time sleeping.

Hesitantly, Cat Slime let out a quiet squeak.

“mm…Hmm?” The Repairman grunted, turning around. He was looking quite tired, with extra lines hanging just under his eyes. He brightened up a little, if only from surprise, when he saw Cat Slime.

“…Hey, what are you doing up?”

Cat Slime could honestly ask the Repairman the same thing. But, that could wait. He squeaked, haltingly.

“…What? No, I’ve…” the inkblot yawned, “…Of course I still want you here!”

Cat Slime let out three short squeaks.

“…Replace you with a Dog Slime?” the Repairman echoed, incredulously. “No! I haven’t planned anything like that! If I did get another slime, I’d just put them in your guest bedroom! You’d be fine with that, righ–”

Then he realized just why Cat Slime was so worried.

“…You’ve been eating cranberry sauce again, haven’t you?” he asked, hands where his hips would be.

Cat Slime looked guiltily to the left, and after a moment, he squeaked and nodded.

“Come on, you know that stuff gives you nightmares! Why’d you have to…”

He trailed off, and his demeanor softened as he noticed Cat Slime was sniffling and about to cry. He sighed.

“I’m sorry, I just…I want you to be okay.”

He reached into his toolbox and scooped Cat Slime out.

“I’d never replace you,” he whispered, holding his pet in a tight embrace. Cat Slime rubbed his face against the Repairman affectionately in return, squeakily crying as he did so.

The Repairman looked at him, and thought a moment.

“…You want me to hold on to you tonight?” he asked, softly.

After an affirmative squeak, the Repairman got back to work, slime in one hand, stapler in the other. At least one of them would, in the morning, be secure in the knowledge that they wouldn’t be replaced.

Combo! (pick a ghost because 39 combos is just too many XD (although if you could come up with 39 I’d be beyond impressed because shoot I couldn’t do that))

[[For the sake of this, I’m just gonna do Time.]]

With Inky:

One Big Blot – Din’s Fire is used to evaporate the Repairman, then through the Song of Storms, he rains down, mixing with the rainwater into one huge living puddle, that rises to be a huge blot. Of course, since it’s the same amount of ink, and magic only goes so far, Giant Repairman is fairly temporary.

With Marie:

Frost Burst – Time gives Marie the Golden Gauntlets. Once she dons them, Time freezes her into an ice cube. From there, Marie is an icy time bomb, sending frozen shrapnel everywhere as she bursts free.

With Cat Slime:

Slimes & Dogs – Playfully, Time in wolf form chases Cat Slime all around, causing as much comedic mayhem as possible as they do so (Mind you, Cat Slime is not quite a cat, but he loves to keep up appearances!). They’ll trip people up, throw things, and straight up tackle some in their chase.

Combo(with Bowyetta)

With the Repairman:
Tear Down This Wall! – The Repairman builds an enormous brick wall, and one lean from Bowyetta sends it tumbling down on the enemy.

With Marie:
Tackle Shot – Marie straps herself to one of the arrows, and Bowyetta fires them at the enemy. Marie then brings up a cloud of violence upon impact.

With Cat Slime:
Bassist Cat – Cat Slime plays with Bowyetta’s string, and finds just the right frequency to stun all nearby enemies.
