Thats interesting, cause I didnt take Marie to be the type that fusses in front a mirror. I figured she be like her work ethic- Efficient, though hastened craftsmanship.
Of course, you know how Sileas is. She’ll spend hours upon hours in front of the mirror- days, if necessary. She wasnt always like that, however. In her days as a human, she was pretty nonchalant about her looks. It was never deemed important to her untill it came time to give her hand in marriage.
Her suitor drove a hard bargain, but in the end, he only gave Sileas’ father half of an expected dowry- “Shes too plain for a full payment,” he argued. Her father was furious at Sileas, she didnt try hard enough! Now how was the family going to make it through the winter??
Thats the last time she saw her parents.
