“Hey you two.” She tried to wave as they moved over an managed… well she wasn’t sure what.

“Well,
I’ll put it this way, it certainly isn’t one of MY jokes if you catch
my drift.” She dead panned as Rep and Marie helped her “stand up”
straight. “Ugh. I just don’t feel right. no bones, no ridged movements…
I’m not even sure how I’m talking… OR what I’m flexing…” She was
managing to stay upright, but it was obviously very stiff and forced.

Very
slowly she attempted to relax, trying to figure out how to stay
upright. “Well, that’s somewhat better?” The right side of her sagged a
bit before she could pick it back up. “Unless I have to move or talk it
seems.”

Aggie sat next to Cat Slime now that Kit was in good hands, but he still kept an eye on her.

Cat Slime immediately pulled Aggie closer, patting him reassuringly. He started squeaking gently, trying to ask what happened without stressing his brother-of-sorts any more than he was already.

“…I see,” the Repairman said, as calmly as he can manage. Seeing her barely contain herself was quite the uncomfortable experience. This only got worse as Kit sagged a bit.

Meanwhile, Marie went over and picked up the gob of grey paint that Kitterah flung. She turned and gently put it into Kit’s side, patting reassuringly.

“…Yeah, it is weird, come to think of it…How do we–MMPH?!”

The Repairman had been quick to cover her “mouth”, much to her annoyance. He didn’t need her questioning herself to death, not now.

“…Erm, what she means is, it’s best not to question it…”

Marie pulled his hand off of where her mouth would be like it was nothing.

In any case,” she said, glaring at her brother before turning back to Kit, “surely we can help you get used to this…OH! Hang on a sec!”

And with that, she dashed over to the tool cart and began digging through the blue toolbox, while the Repairman stayed in case Kit needed further steadying.
