He
tilted his head at the two, awkwardly scratching his cheek. Did that
guy just take a fishbowl out of no where…? Well maybe it was just
suspended in his goopy body? Well, they were interesting for sure. but
definitely harmless, though he wasn’t going to let his guard down too much. Ganon had eyes everywhere.

“Uh,
I don’t think so. I think I would remember some little guys that look
like you-” Link immediately looked apologetic, “Ah- sorry, I didn’t mean
it in a rude way! It’s just that you both look really interesting.
Though, she did mention heroes. Maybe you’re thinking of the legends? ‘A
hero garbed in green, reborn when Hyrule needs him most’? I guess I
kind of ask for that association when I wear something like this. You
might have seen a painting in a book.

Link was not going to tell them that he was the hero, as declared by the princess.

“…Sounds about right,” the Repairman nodded. “Sorry, we’re not really from around here, so…”

Marie nodded in agreement, and her eye caught the fishbowl. She picked it up and extended it to the hero “lookalike”.

“Well, whoever you are,” she beamed, “I think you made quite a catch today! Thanks for getting ou–his toolbox!”

Her bow seemed to droop a little in that last part, but she didn’t notice. Obviously, unlike them, he was fishing for, well, fish, so it’d only be right that he gets what he wanted.
