Thank you so much everyone for following my blog! While balancing work, art, and other things, I’m glad to see how many of you decided that my art was worth your time.

So, to commemorate this event, I will be holding a contest!

Hikari’s Art/Writing Contest:

-Prize: a single character sketch (no color) commission (usually a $15-20 value)! 

What’s the difference between a commission and a request? 

For starters, you can ask me to draw your OC! Generally, humanoid characters have to be clothed and no nsfw, but otherwise most any character should be fine for a free sketch comission!

It also means that I will be checking with you to make sure you are satisfied with the final sketch! If you need me to make changes to pose/expressions, I will be more than happy to do so!

Anyways, here are the prompts!

Art Side Prompt:

Draw a character from one of the following media:

• Villainous
• Demon’s Crest
• Darkest Dungeon
• Monster Hunter
• Versille Tour (my visual novel demo)
• Any of my OCs (eg, Rent-A-Bot, Riaki, Tux, Yuuko, Cornelius, etc. If you want more examples of which ones are my OCs, feel free to ask!)

Writing Side Prompt:

Either:

• Write a poem, or
• Write a short story

Content: The poem/story can be about any of the media listed above. Acceptable examples include, but are not limited to, writing about your favorite characters, ships, memories, and/or moments from any of the media listed above!

Also! The writing does not have to be in English! I can use Google Translate if I have to, so if you’re more comfortable writing in another language, please do so!

Rules!

• Must be following!
• One entry per side prompt (meaning you can send in one art and one writing, but you can only win once!)
• You may post entries to your own blog and then notify me via ask of it (since I’m not sure how much I can trust the mentioning system).
• No nsfw! There can be some wounds and fighting, but nothing too gory.
• The contest ends on August 12th, 2017. No more entries allowed once it hits August 13th, 2017 12 AM, PST.

I will be picking out two winners from each side prompt, for a total of four winners!

I feel like this is my first time doing a contest like this, so if you guys have any questions or suggestions for my next milestone event, please let me know!
