Black, White, and Purple

“Besides you and me?  Who knows, as far as I knew I was the only
Shadow until you showed up.” Shalbie said as he opened the door to the
Bar. As soon as they entered the milk bar went quiet as the Bard and the
Flute boy  finished the piece they were playing.

as Shalbie and the repairman walked towards the table Shadow used most
of the time he entered this establishment. “Don’t mind them, some might
have had a little too much to drink.” Shalbie added a she sat down and
motioned his friend towards an empty seat.  Little time passed before
the bard and his companion began to start playing music again.

“Uh, actually, I’m not–”

Too late. An awkward quiet was not the time. Not like it would have mattered to anyone there, anyway, and the shadow seemed happy…

“Fair enough,” he shrugged, climbing onto the seat. “So, uh, what were you doing there before you met me? I hope I didn’t interrupt anything…”
