Bowyetta wanted to roll back to look up at Mr. Sir, but more than
that she just wanted this metal stuff OFF of her. Her tears started to
slow down, but she remained still so Mr. Sir could finish his work.
“Y-You are caring about Bowyetta this much? And… Bowyetta’s friends are
caring also?” She wasn’t sure if she should doubt him or not, in fact
she wasn’t sure what she SHOULD believe right now. “Bowyetta was always
taught that Smithy would be the only one who was wanting of her… And if
he was not wanting, no one would be…”The Shadow, however,
simply sat and watched. She was slightly jealous at all the care
Bowyetta was getting, but in this state there was nothing much she COULD
do. It’s not like she would last very long anyway.
““Yep,” the Repairman nodded. “What, you don’t think your friends would want you? Sheesh, that Smithy was full of something, I tell ya…”
Shaking his head, he pulled a yellow rotary phone from behind his back and began to dial.
It took a second, but the inkblot finally said, “Hi Bonk! Bowyetta’s here, she’s…relatively safe, and I think she wants and needs to hear from all of ya at home…Could you get Beep on the line? Maybe Medical?”
Having explained this, he handed the receiver to Bowyetta and continued to clean the liquid metal off her.
“It’s for you.”
