“Wait, wait, you’re gonna make us even tinier?!” Susumu started to panic. If she had been more than a few inches tall, she would’ve smacked the gun away from him. “We need to be bigger, not smaller!”
“No, no,” the Repairman hastily explained, “It had a reverse function…”
He kept digging, trying to find the accursed thing.
“…at least, it does if I didn’t smelt the thing for extra material…”
“Well, whatever! We don’t even know how this happened, and Bonk’s been tearing the place up… Fortunately she’s too small to use her bat and-”
“Wait a minute… You wouldn’t have done this to us. You didn’t happen to… You know, see anything suspicious, did you?”
“…No,” the Repairman replied, “I just got here. Though, now that you mention it, it took a bit longer to get here for some reason…”
He thought about it for a moment, but something else just grabbed his attention. He laughed.
“What can an itty-bitty Bonk do–”
He realized what he just said, and his face grew serious again. He began digging for the device again, this time more frantically.
